Every one of us has seen a promo video at some point. Who doesn't know the annoying voice of the green alien Alzak? Whether we like it or not, he's stuck in people's memory and helped to create the largest e-shop in the Czech Republic.

Video marketing has a huge power and can be included among the most important channels in marketing. No wonder. People collect most of the information by seeing, and if not by that, then by hearing. This stores the information in our memory much more thoroughly. But that's not the only advantage of video advertising. Let's look at the 5 most important ones for which you should use video marketing, if you're serious about your business.

In comparison to other channels, you can use much more comprehensive means of communication, you are not limited only to text and simple graphic illustration. When you consider the possibility of targeting to relevant audience and thus offering the video really only to those who are interested in your product or service, the promo video becomes a unique marketing weapon. Large companies and intermediaries like Google and Facebook have already realized this and therefore they offer many options of advertising to their clients. Whatever option you choose, price per views is very cheap in comparison with other ways of online marketing. Therefore, it's advisable to start some videos (for example, product videos) with a basic message. Companies that deal with the creation of promo videos will advise you with professional concepts. In contrast to other formats, the focus is usually to a wider range of audience, so the price can ultimately be similar, but with much bigger reach. Both the price setting of graphic ads (view for banner ad is cheap as well), and smaller competition are responsible for low price, because the percentage of companies that use this type of advertising is smaller and smaller (which is certainly due to the difficulty of creating a quality promo video).

If you are still hesitant, maybe you will be convinced by the fact that systems themselves prioritize videos and thus prefer them against other advertising formats. So you can find your video at the top of search engines in front of a competitive ads, or between pictures. Facebook officially predicted that by 2021 it will be purely in the form of videos and no text. We have no way of knowing what the reality will be, but we can at least suspect where Facebook will be headed in the future and what the perspective of promo videos is.

If we should find some significant disadvantage in video marketing, it would be the difficulty to make a quality video that is representative, carries an idea and catches attention. On the other hand, if you get on board and create a promo video, you will be able to use it for longer period of time and gain a considerable advantage against your competitors. And as the statistics show, it's clearly worth it.
